Women Social entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce. Entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as a whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives.
In our Social Entrepreneur series today we are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Delhi for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social field particular in Inner Wheel Club who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship. Yes, we are talking about Mrs. Seema Hazari, President, Inner Wheel Club of Delhi Main, District 301, she shared her Service and Charity Project with Hello Womeniya Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.
Brief Introduction of Seema Hazari:
Myself President Seema Hazari of IWC Delhi Main [2021-22] is a social worker & a certified wellness coach. I feel privileged and honoured to be part of this wonderful International organization. Delhi main is one of the oldest & most reputed club of District 301. It came into existence 53 years back & is called an iconic club. My aim is to help those who need us the most. My vision is in synchronization with District chairman Anita Jain “strong world comes with stronger women.” If a women at home is healthy, she will ensure other family members to be healthy & at the same time be excited to take the step of moving ahead in life. Educating herself followed by financial independence which enables her to lead a very healthy, happy and respected life. Helping all & specially women can bring a change in their life & change in the society. A strong step towards nation building & development.
Key highlights of the Service Project:
Project 1-
Date: 20th July 2021
The year started with an oath to assist orphanages & old age homes. IWC Delhi main rendered services to Sarita vihar children welfare home by giving nutritional supplements to children. During COVID & post Covid more toddlers came to orphanages. The following months in August & Sept bed bunks, mattresses, utensils, towels, napkins, diapers were given to the welfare home to give the feel of complete home to the abandoned. Recently a washing machine was also donated as the number of children have considerably increased. In winters sweaters, socks & woolen caps & slippers were also given. Pizza treat was given in one of the special lunch organized to bring smile on their faces.
Project 2:

Adopting old age homes to fulfill their basic needs is an ongoing process of Delhi main club. Supporting Arushi NGO by giving complete meals to 4 families every month. In Mahilaashram, festivals were celebrated & special food & snacks served. Invishramvridhgrih ashram medicines, medical aid like walking sticks, wheel chairs given. Taking care of seniors is our moral responsibilities and one must take pride in doing so. Spending time with them, looking after their basic needs & giving timely medical help is given by Inner wheel clubs.

Health, hygiene& happiness is one of the high priorities of our life. Good Health plays a very important role in our life. Nutritional food like Gur & Chana distributed regularly in Surajkund dispensary to poor pregnant ladies to ensure their wellbeing. Anaemia is classified as a major public health problem in India among ladies, so supplementation like protinex, Horlicks, calcium , iron, etc. distributed regularly. Covid vaccination camps organized frequently for safety &well being of all age groups. Recently, vaccination drive for 12 plus children carried out in Ibiza complex & surrounding societies. Also children and elders on wheel chairs got the opportunity to get vaccinated in these camps. Awareness talk on organ donation & organ transplant by eminent doctors in PHD house was given. Donation given to young thalassemia patients in Sarvodaya hospital by IWC Delhi main. Free cataract surgeries camp organized.
Project 4:
Date: 10th Oct 2021
We all know heart & soul of India lies in villages. Developing villages means developing India. Surajkund dispensary in Faridabad got a facelift. A proper shed with fabricator and strong iron rods were constructed. Daily patients visiting the dispensary had to stand in strong sun or rain with no proper shelter so this newly constructed shed has given relief to all patients there. Placards with beautiful captions were installed. Members of Delhi main visited and interacted with the doctors and patients and also asked what more could be done for the betterment of the village dispensary. Water cooler also donated for safe drinking cool water.

Inner wheel is encouraging more women entrepreneurs .This platform is designing an entrepreneurial ecosystem to uplift & encourage the women entrepreneurs in India to develop financial literacy to help them lead a happy, prosperous & respectful life. Women entrepreneurs is being encouraged to increase their online viability ,share experience, information& support each other to achieve success. Daughter of a cook & house help exceptionally good in studies were given smartphones to continue with their online studies. Aman, son of a domestic help wanted to pursue college studies in Bachelor of computer science was encouraged to pursue his goal by IWC Delhi main who went ahead with his vision by paying his college fees. School uniform sweaters distributed to young school going children in villages.

Date: 4th Dec 2021
Taking care of mother earth is responsibility of each individual to ensure healthy living. Trees are considered as an oxygen tank so planting trees means giving quality life. Plantation drive were carried out from time to time by Inner wheel members. Herbal & medicinal plants were planted by members in their balconies and open areas like tulsi, neem, aloe Vera, lemon, kadi pattaetc. Indoor plants like snake plants, money plants were also planted for aesthetic look & increasing oxygen capacity there by enhancing immunity.

Date: 10th Jan 2022
IWC District 301 encouraged women living below poverty line to lead a better life by giving 10 e rickshaws to 10 women on 10th Jan which is celebrated as International Inner wheel day. International Inner wheel is an International women’s social organization to create friendship, service and understanding. More than 100 clubs all over the world. IWC has strong presence in India. It has more 3000 clubs in urban & rural India. A strong nation can only be built by stronger women. Many students have been given vocational trainings in the field of computer, parlour work, stitching courses etc.
Project 8:
Date: 28th Feb 2022
IWC district 301 organised picnic in Pushpanjali farms in Delhi promoting friendship & fellowship. Stalls were put up by women entrepreneurs to promote their skills and make a better livelihood.Many short awareness skits ,song & dance were put up by members. Delhi main also organized picnic in Sunder nursery for better bonding, played games, tabola & enjoyed the delicious meals together to strengthen the bond of friendship.Charter day celebration meant learning from past presidents.
Project 9:
Date: 8th March 2022
IWC Delhi main was part of the host club for organizing car rally on women’s day.10 underprivileged women were given smartphones encouraging them to continue with their skills by connecting through lot many people. Women car Rally started from Tjagraj stadium, finally assembling at PHD house New Delhi. It was another fun filled day activity with the moto of friendship, fellowship & service to the society.

Date: 15th May 2022
Delhi main has been spreading awareness through digital & print media. Umbrellas with Inner wheel logo distributed to every class of people, be it friends, neighbours, visitors, vendors, seniors, etc. to know what Inner wheel club is doing .Registers with Inner wheel logo distributed to underprivileged school. Aim is to focus on good social environment, moral education, character building & tackle all social causes of the society. Lets make Inner wheel house hold name dedicated to spreading Friendship & Service.
Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel:
International Inner Wheel is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid-19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC; she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.
