Shifa’s struggle with skincare started when she got her first acne during the 9th grade …
It was an unsuccessful journey despite trying all various kinds of treatments and also use of foreign products recommended by dermatologists . Finally she went in for Ayurvedic and natural skincare products to successfully overcome her skincare issues !
It then struck her that most Indians turned a blind eye to global brands and unable to realise India’s rich repository of Ayurvedic knowledge that offers natural alternatives which were sidelined .
Shifa felt the need to step forward and do something about it.
After a thorough research she found the perfect role models to achieve her leading Space in Organic Cosmetic Industry.
Those few who inspired her throughout her journey were the famous * Mrs. C.J Walker ( an African American ) who is an Ace Women Entrepreneur 100 years ago that garnered lot of success in this industry. Her hard work is now recognized by *NETFLIX* Series titled MADAM CJ WALKER starring *Octavia Spencer*, *Elizabeth Arden* from New York and *Helena Rubinstein* from UK. They not only boosted her spirit and made her eager to learn and explore the cosmetic scientific industry, but also impacted a lot on Shifa who gracefully follows the footsteps of such brilliant women .
She started from basic melt and pour Soap Courses, to neverending exploration in new organic vegan cosmetic science.
