In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you to a very dynamic and popular social entrepreneur of IWC who firmly believes in Social service and charity work yes we are talking about Usha Sinha President of Inner Wheel Club of Patna, Dist-325 stepped in with precautions to support Covid affected in this lockdown.
About IWC District 325 :
IW District 325 was formed on 19th June 1985 with four clubs Darbhanga, Biharsharif, Hazaribagh, and Gaya. It was formed due to the efforts of the first District Governor of RI District 325, Late PDG Dhanesh Prasad. The first club of their District was the Inner Wheel Club of Darbhanga, followed by Biharsharif and Hazaribagh. Now the quantities have expanded and include patliputra, Patna, phulwarisharif, Satya danapur, saumya, Jamshedpur, Muzaffarpur, and others.

She says, “Covid-19 created turmoil in everyone’s lives Amid the global epidemic, closure of school colleges, and social distance. All of them had a very bad impact on all the common people. I wanted to serve leprosy patients from the very beginning. I had a different experience of working among all of them during my tenure. All the leprosy patients could not even go out appealing. In the meantime, it was great to share their grief and a small effort was made for them on my behalf. Women are women, men also make a lot of dishes and sweets during this period and serve them to the entire family. It is my prayer to God that this period should not come again in life. In some sense, it was also good that all the families had a golden opportunity to come together and live together in the house. I also got a chance to learn and teach a lot during this Corona period during the 2020-21 My Corona session which passed between Covid-19, the President’s Session of Usha Sinha Innerwheel Club of Patna. When I took over as the Presidentship, Covid-19 was at its peak. Everyone was living in the house in fear. Don’t go out, stay clean, keep yourself healthy and safe, Keep washing hands, again and again, Keep your face covered with masks. A lot of experiences have been experienced during this period. The biggest experience was the fun of working in this period. I got a chance to work with all the migrant laborers who returned from their habitats and came to the village. There is no helper. I had a different feeling of traveling 130 kilometers from Patna to my village and coming to the village as a driver by myself. When you leave home, put a mask on your face, wear gloves in your hand, put a sanitizer in your purse, keep yourself completely safe and leave home to carry out the purpose.
The inner wheel members got a chance to connect through Zoom from across the country and abroad. Many became middle-of-the-world acquaintances.”

These are some of the projects they undertook and they attempt to contribute more services to the community.
