Women Social  entrepreneurs and business entrepreneurs  are leaving their mark on the world. By creating successful companies, they are contributing to the betterment of the economy. Female entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce.
Maharashtra  has produced a number of women entrepreneurs in Social field in the recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare,  branding, Social services,  etc. Maharashtra  notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.

Hello Womeniya. Com  always has a very special corner for the women, and the news portals  is working towards the women-empowerment right from the inception. Hello Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on  online platform.  The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.

In our Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you a very dynamic and and popular Social entrepreneur of Maharashtra who firmly believes in Social service and charity. She honoured with so many prestigious awards for her remarkable noble works. Yes we are taking about Mrs Vaishali Bothra.

Brief introduction of Mrs. Vaishali Bothra

An Interior Decorator, Textile Designer and a Horticulturist.

She was an Apex Board Member in JITO (2018-2020) and Vice-Chairperson, Gujarat JITO Ladies Wing National Working Committee.

Patron Member, JITO Ladies Wing. National Board, Member of Management.
Member of the Governing Body, Dnyan Bharti Society’s Sau S.R.Karandikar and Late M.B.B. Irani College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Dahanu.

Her Associations are Director of Bothra Group of Companies, Director, Dahanu Road Janata Co-op. Bank. Committee Member, Lions Club of Dahanu. Dahanu Municipal Council’s Environment Committee Member, Director of Agriculture produce Market Committee (APMC). Founder of Sakhi (Senior Citizen Group), Owner of Government Recognized Bothra (Vaishali) Nursery. Also, she is a member of the Jain Social Group.

She has completed her B.Sc. from Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science, Mumbai, Diploma in Interior and Textile Designing from Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science, “The Science of Well-Being” course from University of Yale, USA, and achieved Grade 100%. Completed Dairy Production and Management course from the Pennsylvania State of University, College of Agriculture Science.

She has certification in “The Future of Work: Preparing for Disruption”, by World Bank Group, certified by Harvard University and completed the LEAD1x Course “Exercising Leadership: Foundation Principles.” She has been certified from Stanford University, USA, for completing the course “Stanford Introduction to Food and Health”. Also completed the course on “The Science of Well-Being”, of Yale University, USA.

She is socially connected to various NGOs and Educational Institutes in various capacities for the last ten years. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and social upliftment. Has a Vision for integrated growth and development of women across all sectors. Her work in the Integrated Development of rural villages is recognized and highly appreciated.

She says, “Let’s create from Atmanirbhar Bharat, To Make in India movement, Boycott Made in China, Stop using Chinese products, Stop buying Chinese goods, Boycott China.”

Felicitated by the Lt. Hon. Former President Shri Pranab Mukherjee for the best Horticulturist.
She had got Corona Warrior appreciation from Jain Social Group International Federation.
She has the World Book of Records, UK, recognized and appreciated the work done for Women Empowerment during Covid-19, 2020.
She was the Co-sponsor of Zaayka, from the kitchen to your heart.
Recipient of ‘Business Excellence Award’ for ‘Best Agro Company of India and Women Empowerment”, 2019. # Awarded the ‘ Humanitarian and Women Power Excellence Award’ in Social Work by the J.D. Institute of Fashion Designing and felicitated by Jain Sangh Dahanu.

She was covered by Femina Magazine as ‘Miss Femina Smart Girl’, 1990. Appreciation for Support and Humanity Work from Rajneeti ki Pathshala.

She was also a winner at Agro Horticulture Society of India Annual Flower Show and Friends of the Tree, Vegetables, Fruits and Flower Show. Creation of Self- Employment Opportunities in collaboration with JITO. Career Guidance Programs for Students and Parents of X and XII.

She has undertaken Medical Camps in collaboration with Dahanu Medical Association.
# She started of Short-Term Certification courses in the College for the underprivileged.
Womenpreneur National Business Conclave with JITO (Co-sponsor) JBN National Starting with the Skill Development Courses for women in collaboration with various institutions.

She believes, “With every experience, you alone are painting your canvas, thought by thought, choice by choice.”

She regularly undertakes Environmental Awareness Program like a tree plantation and recycling of plastic. Commencing Digital Awareness to rural students, ladies and senior citizens.

She acknowledges in “Empower Women” and feels proud to be a woman and cheers all the strong women. Besides, she feels that “Women Equity” means “Fair” treatment to Women and Men, as per their respective needs. This may include equal treatment or treatment that is different but considered equivalent in terms of rights, benefits, obligations, and opportunities
