Versha Kumar is hailing from a renowned family of doctors is Director of a Pvt. Ltd. Company and owns franchise outlets of reputed Jawed Habib in Lucknow. She did a bachelor’s degree in Science and a masters and doctorate in Chemistry from Lucknow University. She worked as a Research Associate in CDRI, Lucknow. A few years ago she moved from researcher to entrepreneurship and joined her family business. Versha has earned skills and experience in technical and managerial aspects of the business, which has made her an important part of the company. She has vast experience in the management of the popular Jawed Habib Hair and Beauty enterprises in Lucknow. The company is known for its immaculate workforce and state of the art services throughout the city. The company aims to provide people with world-class facilities and services in the booming fashion industry of hair and beauty. She says her husband Rotarian Dr Vinay Kumar is her biggest support, best critic and enormous. Her both sons, Aviral and Akshat are the inspiration behind all her work.
She is a kind-hearted person who has always been an immense help to those around and in need of help. Her passion for giving back to society, brought her to Inner Wheel in 2008. She served in various positions at the club level and received innumerable awards, including Best Club President and Secretary. She organized exemplary community service projects for the needy and underprivileged as the Club President in vocational training, education, village upliftment, women empowerment, and special children. She entered into Inner wheel District as District ISO in the year 2016-17. Working continuously at the various district post this year she is elected as District Vice Chairman.
She has been working constantly to bring positive changes in the lives of women & children. One of the things that make her successful is the thought that women have the power to succeed and when they work together, they increase the chances to succeed. She believes that women have an impact on society both individually and collectively. Her belief in women and her passion for making women have a greater impact in society made her organize an Inner Wheel Women Car Rally during the International Womens’ day, which has become one of the most important annual events in the Lucknow City. She loves to make her years count and proudly says Inner Wheel is her passion, and she lives by the twin motto. Friendship and Service.
