In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode, we are introducing you to a very dynamic and popular social Entrepreneur of IWC District 325 who firmly believes in Social service and charity work. Yes we are talking about Dr. Anjana Verma, President of Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South shared her club’s covid-19 projects for needy

Brief Introduction of IWC:-

As a non-profit organisation “They believe by working together -we can achieve our ambitions and make this world a better place for everyone to live in.” The future is in our hands and we do not have to see how small the world is but how big the Inner Wheel is. We all have to be forward-thinking and make our voices heard. We have to be innovative in our efforts to Inspire other Women to join the Inner Wheel, so that “Together We Can” can enjoy friendship and reach out to those who are getting left behind in this ever-changing world.

Mumbai: As a benefit and helping hands provider union they never dwell behind and constantly come up with different beliefs to help the community. A similar goes for the Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South they are giving their best to support people amid a pandemic.

Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South has undertaken numerous projects in the Covid 19 pandemic:-

Charity project details during pandemic :
Distribution of masks, gloves, and sanitizers amongst different sections of the society,

Picture :Distribution of masks, gloves, and sanitizers amongst different sections of the society,

Food and Grocery distributed to old age home people amid pandemic.

e.g. rickshaw pullers, auto drives, maidservants, sweepers, shopkeepers, vegetable vendors, guards, policemen, villagers, etc.

Further, Donation of Foot Sanitizer Machine to different places.
Awareness talks on zoom on precautions to be taken to avoid Covid infection amongst students and the general public.

Donation of oxy breathes cans and lungs exercise machines for the covid patients.
Contribution of 5 oximeters to Guru Nanak Sewa Sansthan to be utilized for Covid patients.

Women, whose families were stricken by Covid 19 pandemic and lost jobs, are donated pairs of ducks, who would lay eggs and be a small source of income.

Apart from that, provided Groceries, toiletries, general medicines, vegetables, cooking oil and cooked food were distributed among the needy who are a victim of lockdown.

During Covid 19 pandemic, special drives were undertaken to clean and sanitize the residential areas and areas near water bodies. Masks, sanitizers, groceries, phenyl, Dettol, etc were distributed among the inmates of Old Age Home.

About IWC District 325 :

IW District 325 was formed on 19th June 1985 with four clubs Darbhanga, Biharsharif, Hazaribagh, and Gaya. It was formed due to the efforts of the first District Governor of RI District 325, Late PDG Dhanesh Prasad. The first club of their District was the Inner Wheel Club of Darbhanga, followed by Biharsharif and Hazaribagh. Now the quantities have expanded and include patliputra, Patna, phulwarisharif, Satya danapur, saumya, Jamshedpur, Muzaffarpur, and others.
