Women Social entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce. Entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives.

In our Social Entrepreneur series today we are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Lakhimpur Nav Disha she is known for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social field particular in Inner Wheel Club who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship. Yes, we are talking about Mrs. Vibha Srivastava, President, Inner Wheel Club of Lakhimpur Nav Disha, District 312, she shared her Service and Charity Project with Hello Womeniya Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.

Key Highlights of Service Project:

Project 1:

Date: 2nd October 2021
Project: Established an ‘Inner Wheel Dhaba’ in SH-21 (State Highway-21) and supported 9 families to earn their living.

Amount: Rs. 5,00,000/-
Beneficiary: 45 people

Project 2:

Date: 2nd October 2021
Project: For the Health and Hygiene of general public, Constructed a Public Washroom for both ladies and gents, near Inner Wheel Dhaba.

Amount: Rs. 1,50,000/-
Beneficiary: Many

Project 3:

Date: 21st August 2021
Project: Donated ration in Old Age Home, Constructed Library of Spiritual books and donated system with pen drives filled with the collection of Old Songs, Bhajans, Aarti, etc.

Amount: Rs. 15,000/-
Beneficiary: 90 people

Project 4:

Date: 11th December 2021
Project: Developed an ‘Inner Wheel Organic Garden and Compost Plant’ in 15000/- sq. ft. land in Paharapur village. Planted approx 500 medicinal, fruits, vegetable and flowering plant. Also preparing Organic Compost useful for these plants.

Amount: Rs. 90,000/-
Beneficiary: Many

Project 5:

Date: 11th December 2021
Project: Installed an ‘Inner Wheel Highway Help Desk’ equipped with all the Emergency Help like First-Aid Medicines, Phone, all the Emergency numbers of All over India, etc. on State Highway-21 to help general public.

Amount: Rs. 7,972/-
Beneficiary: Many

Project 6:

Date: 25th July 2021
Project: Organised an awareness talk among village women in which they were told about ‘Self Help Group’ facility provided by bank and how they can get help from it in taking their small business to the next level.

Amount: Rs. 1,500/-
Beneficiary: Many

Project 7:

Date: 11th July 2021
Project: Spread awareness about Health and Hygiene. Distributed Iron Tablets to needy women and Sanitary Napkins to girls and women in village area. Also made them aware about how these Napkins were beneficial for their health in comparison to clothes and other material.

Amount: Rs. 9,675/-
Beneficiary: 130 ladies

Project 8:

Date: 31th March 2022
Project: Donated Bottle Sterlizer, Swing, Chess game, Basketball, Badminton set, Walker for small kids, Pencil Box, fruits and eatables to the children living in Orphanage. Also celebrated my daughter’s birthday by cutting cake and spending quality time with them.

Amount: Rs. 6500/-
Beneficiary: 34 people

Project 9:

Date: 15th August 2021
Project: Distributed Inner Wheel T-Shirts to all the Rickshaw pullers, Vegetable vendors, cleaning staff of our city to Brand Inner Wheel.

Amount: Rs. 5000/-
Beneficiary: 50 people

Project 10:

Date: 11th December 2021
Project: Installed 2 Solar Street lights in Slum areas, Sponsored School fees of 3 girls, donated Computer in Orphanage, installed Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine in Girls school, donated 2 Bicycles, Sewing Machines to needy girls and Sweaters to children of Sanskrit school.

Amount: Rs. 70,332/-
Beneficiary: Many

Project 11:

Date: 11th December 2021
Project: Installed an Iron Welcome board at the entrance of our city Lakhimpur Kheri, having Inner Wheel logo and covered with radium sheet to promote Inner Wheel.

Amount: Rs. 11,700/-
Beneficiary: Many

Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel:

International Inner Wheel is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid-19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC; she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.
