Female entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce.
India has produced a number of women entrepreneurs in Social field in the recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare, branding, Social services, etc. Maharashtra notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.
Hello Womeniya. Com always has a very special corner for the women, and the news portals is working towards the women-empowerment right from the inception. Hello Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on online platform. The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.
In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you a very dynamic and and popular social Entrepreneur of Inner wheel who firmly believes in Social service and charity work yes we are talking about Preeti P. Amberker who is current Secretary of IWC Davangree South Zone .She shared her Club ‘s Charitable projects details and Inner wheel Journey with Hello Womwniya Correspondent Ruchika Sawant.

Myself PREETHI.P.AMBERKER. Our current President Smt .Vaishali Jhadhav, is an active I.W. member from the past 15 years.She is an B.Com graduate. God has gracefully bestowed us all the amenities and more, ,hence our duties lies to serve the less fortunate.What more an great platform than the Inner Wheel.Our Club DAVANGERE SOUTH ZONE, which comes under District 316 was established by 1995.Since then it has been successfully doing various project to serve the humanity & the downtrodden. We hv been the President & Secretary from the past 3 consecutive years.Though due to the current Pandemic situation that has crippled the whole world, we too were unfortunately hindered to do the services, but never to be ceased. During our tenure, we have successfully done various projects like planting the trees.Collection & donation of relief funds to the flood affected regions .Here I would like to mention that the funds collected to this was the highest ever in history of I.W. Davangere.”Swatch Bharath Propaganda” by briefing the plastic menace to the students.Spending DEEPAVAALI, at VRIDDH ASHRAM. Donating daily essentials to them.Spending quality time with them ,seeing their happy faces, & being blessed by them which eventually made us happy. Distribution of stationary items to the poor students.Donation of Sewing Machine to Deaf & Dumb Girls.Donation of U.P.S to Vriddh Ashram. Distribution of blankets to the road side beggers are some of the projects that were under taken during our tenure.
About District 316:
One of the most important District of Inner Wheel in South India which covers big cities and districts of Karnataka such as Bellary, Koppal, Kadapa, Hospet, Chitradurga, Vidyanagar , Gulbarga ,Anantapur, Nellor, and Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh. This District performed well during this difficult time of pandemic and majority of the clubs came forward to support pandemic affected people.
Brief History of Inner Wheel :
Inner Wheel founded by Mrs. Oliver Golding in 1923 is the World’s Second Largest Non-Governmental Voluntary, Women’s Service Organization consisting of mainly women folks of Rotarian. It’s purpose is to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of society. The Inner Wheel is the world’s second largest women’s organization and comprises of the women folk of Rotarians. It is a recognized voluntary Non-Government Organization to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of the Society. In recognition of its social service, it has got representation in the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Inner Wheel concentrates upon Friendship and Personal Service.
