Entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as a whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives.
In our Social Entrepreneur series today we are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Meerut Shaan for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social field particular in Inner Wheel Club who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship. Yes, we are talking about Kumkum Chauhan, President Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan, District 310, she shares her Service and Charity Project with Hello Womeniya Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.

Celebrated Doctor’s Day
Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan honored 10 Corona Warriors with certificates and shields on Doctor’s Day. Apart from this, promotion of Inner wheel was done by putting stickers on cars, motor bikes, pillars and shops. Along with this, got two new members Bindu Agarwal and Vinita Agarwal inducted in the club, on this occasion President Kumkum Chauhan, PP Saroj Mittal and Seema Verma were present.

Plantation & Say No Plastic Bags
The members of Inner wheel club Meerut Shaan celebrated Van Mahotsav by planting saplings in their homes respectively. And motivated for planting more and more trees to save the environmental damage caused by plastic. Because if there is a tree, there is life.
Under No polythene bag campaign, bags made of cloth were distributed to the women and in the adopted school and also a very needy woman was given employment in the bag making factory of club member Bindu Agarwal. And a woman was also helped financially. Club Secretary Saroj Mittal had special support on this occasion.

Doctors’ Honour and Charity in District Women Hospital
Following Projects done by club are:
Corona Warriors – Dr. Manisha Agarwal, Dr. Madhu Aggarwal and Nupur were honoured with shields and certificates by Inner wheel club of Meerut Shaan for the service work done day and night in the District Women’s Hospital.
Club Vice President Garima Singhal donated a wheelchair to the hospital so that any serious patient can be easily shifted if needed.
Masks were distributed in the District Women Hospital because mask is very important to stay safe from Covid-19.
IWC of Meerut Shaan motivated more and more people to get Covid-19 vaccination.
Promoted Inner wheel by putting up the banner of the club in the hall of hospital. Club President Kumkum Chauhan presented her views on Women Empowerment and Club secretary, Saroj ji had special support on this occasion.

JOINT PROJECT AT APNA GHAR ASHRAM
11 Clubs of Meerut : IWC of Meerut Prabhat, IWC of Meerut Muskan, IWC of Meerut Shaan, IWC of Meerut, IWC of Meerut Shastrinagar, IWC of Saket, IWC of Meerut Samrat, IWC of Meerut Platinum, IWC of Meerut Star IWC of Meerut Cantt, IWC of Meerut Urja did a joint project in Apna Ghar Ashram in which two coolers, pulses, spices, rice, desi ghee, oil, sugar and cash were given. on this occasion Chief Guests were ARRFC Rotarian Rajeev Sharma ji and Association CCCC Dr. Rashmi Sharma Ji . Rashmi ji highly appreciated the joint service work done in the ashram and encouraged everyone to continue such social work constantly. On this occasion AC member Santosh Sharma District Secretary Anita Singh, District ISO Shalini Gupta, District Editor Usha Raj Gupta, PDC Mridula Goyal and Presidents of all clubs, Secretaries and other members were present there.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The flag was hoisted by Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan on Independence Day at Inner Wheel School, Chhajjupur and this day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Secretary, Saroj Mittal ji appealed to apply mask and stay safe. Vice President Garima Singhal also supported on this occasion.
Project 6:
Honoured 15 Teachers on teacher’s day and celebrated International Literacy Day
Dr. Shashi Prabha Tomar Memorial Inner Wheel School, Chhajjupur, adopted by Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan, honored 15 teachers there with certificates and gifts on Teachers’ Day. Also Principal K. P. Singh ji was honored by wearing a patka. Secretary Saroj Mittal Ji highlighted the role of teacher in social reform, social development and maintaining social harmony. On this occasion Dr. Neeti, Garima Singhal, Rakhi, Hemlata, Afrozi, Shivani, Poorva, Shashi, Shikha, Teena, Mehsar, Shalini , Asif and Gopal Sharma were honored.
Along with this, International Literacy Day was also celebrated. Club President Kumkum Chauhan highlighted the importance of literacy and distributed copies, pencils and biscuits to the children.

Celebration of Ganpati & Krishna Utsav
Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan organised monthly meeting at the residence of Vice President Garima Singhal in the form of Ganpati Utsav and Krishna Utsav. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp, Ganesh Vandana by Neetu Garg. Great performance was given by Saroj Mittal, Kumkum Chauhan, Alka Kansal, Anjali Gupta. Shikha, Roopam, Bindu Sandhya presented melodious hymns. Rama Singhal ji was Honoured with gift on this occasion. Quiz was also conducted.
Keeping in view the protection of the environment, everyone was presented plants with beautiful planters on their birthday.
Along with this, bags made of cloth were distributed by boycotting plastic.
Dr. Ranjana Mishra, Neeru Batra and Rani etc. had special support. At the end of the program everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner.

Charity Done In Kushth Ashram
Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan distributed lentils, rice, flour, khichdi, porridge, sugar, oil, fruits, sweets, biscuits,chips, spices, groundnuts, revdi ,gajak socks, slippers and clothes to the needy people in the leprosy ashram on the occasion of the new year and wished them good health. Secretary Saroj Mittal, Vice President Garima Singh, Treasurer Seema Gupta, Renu Shivani , Seema Verma and all the members of the club had special support for this noble cause.

Maid’s Spinal Cord Medical Checkup and Treatment Was Done
Rupam Mittal, an executive member of Inner Wheel Club of Meerut Shaan, got his maid’s X-ray, Ultrasound and M.R.I. because she was suffering with severe back pain. In report it was found that she is short of one essential bone in her spinal cord. For whose treatment Rupam is bearing the full cost of medicines and is also motivating her for light exercise daily.

EVENT FOR NAVRATRE AND BAISAKHI WAS ORGANIZED
Today’s General Meeting was organized by Innerwheel Club of Meerut Shaan on “Punjabi Theme” in the form of Navratri and Vaishakhi at Hotel Harmony Inn . In which the program was started with the Inner Wheel Prayer by lighting the lamp. Club President Kumkum Chauhan congratulated everyone on Navratri and Baisakhi. Presentation for Maa Durga was given by Seema Gupta . The stage was brilliantly conducted by Neetu Garg . The hosts of the program were Alka, Sunita and Shail Sagar. Saroj Mittal, Garima Singhal, Renu, Seema Verma, Sandhya, Roopam, Anjali, Dr.Ranjana, Shivani, Anshu and Mamta gave captivating performances on Punjabi Songs. Dr. Neeti distributed Kaner plants to all club members. Tambola was also played. In the end everyone enjoyed the delicious delicacies.
