In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you a very dynamic and social Entrepreneur of Chandigarh yes we are taking about Komal Gupta who is IWC Chandigarh president in IWC District 308. She firmly believes in Social service and charity work. During this difficult time of pandemic she proved herself to support pandemic affected people.

Komal Gupta while elaborating the experience about the charity work said that,”The journey this year has been tremendously wonderful. It gave wings to reach out to needy in every possible need. God choose me to lead of our club during this pandemic and I too wanted to do the best to my ability. I tried to complete all the goals given by our association president.”
Komal Gupta further added, “Times were challenging but didn’t stop me . I reached needy with packed food , dry ration, book and stationery , masks, sanitizers , clothes sweaters etc. we cleaned drains, water bodies and installed solar light panels.”
Komal Gupta in additional to this said, “Awareness programs on health and hygiene were done. Lots of medical help was given to patients (post surgery care )
From 20th April onwards food was supplied to Covid patients in quarantine and lunch is given every day to patients and health care workers in temporary Covid centers every day.
We honoured frontline workers police personnel, jawans at boarder and health workers.
Right now we raised funds for three fully automated beds which will be installed at ICU centre at sector 16 hospital .
Still going strong to Initiate more during this pandemic.”
