Mumbai: While speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Tanuja Choudhary IWC president of Khurja a discuss 310 made it known that Innerwheel wheel wheel wheel is the largest women organisation in the world.It evolved its members to create friendship by developing a congenial atmosphere by involving them in service towards humanity.
Inner wheel is the symbol of women empowerment.
She went on to add that Every year the Club has a different theme but this year’s theme it is unique, different and appropriate to the current situation “LEAD THE CHANGE” as We are CHANGE MAKERS!!
In exception to this crucial situation the Club is trailing new ideas to keep the club vibrant and focused on friendship and fun. The Club is growing by leaps and bounds and is doing significant projects.
Tanja Choudhary also said that this year, worldwide changes were observed, and the period of lockdown was extremely painful as everything came to a standstill. Nevertheless things were planned differently according to the prevailing situation to keep the Wheel of tbe Club moving.
She talked about Khurja, a small town in Bulandshahr district and located in Uttar Pradesh around 85 kms from Delhi. Predominantly, Khurja supplies a large portion of ceramics used in the country. Hence, sometimes it is called the Ceramics City.Khurja is also famous for its mouthwatering special sweet known as ‘KHURCHAN’.
Another segment is the Khurja Pottery, a Traditional Indian Pottery Work manufactured in Khurja
Tanuja reiterates that the Inner Wheel Club is a symbol of HOPE.
She details some glimpses of work done by her club.
She said that this year, we started our tenure by honouring our real heroes, doctors by giving certificates.
She further added that a the 33 members if the Club undertook the plantation work and placed plantation. The Club President and ISO also put flag outside their homes to publicise Inner Wheel Club. The Club conducted Yoga project for staying fit, and celebrated Teej with 2 other clubs Sikanderabad rejoice and Bulandshahr Shine on Zoom. Breastfeeding awareness and corona awareness camps were also undertaken by Dr. Neetu Agarwal which eventually turned out to be a big success.
Ram Janambhoomi poojan celebration too were celebrated by all them. The Club members also got coverage in media. Independence Day was also with District by participating in Patriotic dance competition and poster making competition in both and received 2nd and 3rd Prizes by our club gave full energy to us.
On Teacher’s day, they honoured 2 teachers,8 +1+3 poor girls and full year fees was given by some members. Even vocational training was imparted to many students by the club members. Sanitary Pads, masks,sanitizer were distributed besides honouring the Corona warriors. Immunity booster kits too were distributed by the Inner Wheel Club.
