Guninder Kaur :Joined Inner Wheel in 2000 -2001 and never looked back. Served all the posts many times at club level and won many laurels . Served all the post at District Level and currently serving the highest post of District Leader. I luv Inner Wheel, live Inner Wheel and enjoy Inner Wheel as it’s main objective is Friendship and Service.
Hello Womeniya : Could you please share your lockdown experience and how your District performed during this difficult time .
Guninder Kaur : I’m proud of my District that even in the Lock down period members did best of service to feed and help the needy sections of society. I become more tech savvy and learnt so much new things online .
Hello Womeniya : What is your appeal and message to Inner Wheel women .
Guninder Kaur : Dear IW friends we’re women for women. Let’s do towards Women n Girls’ Health, Education , Empowerment , Gender Equality and Financial Independence as much as we can .
Hello Womeniya : Do you agree this pandemic brought a lot of changes in our personal and professional life
Guninder Kaur : Yes of course ! People have learned to earn sitting at home , working from home, building relations with family.
Hello Womeniya : Can you highlights some important service projects you did during this pandemic
Guninder Kaur : District 307 focused on Women’s Health and Hygiene , Education , Empowerment and Environment . 550 Free Mammography Tests done, almost 50 Cervical Cancer Vaccination Given to girls of 9-15 years age, Covid vaccination camps, General Medical Camps and Blood Donation camps were organised. 55 sewing machines given to needy girls to promote entrepreneurship in girls to earn their living.
Hello Womeniya : Being a Social entrepreneur what is your goal and vision about the upliftment of the society.
Guninder Kaur : My Goal is to spread awareness towards zero waste to save Environment and our Mother Earth by stopping and managing the plastic.
Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :
International Inner Wheel is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.

Guninder Kaur has been a part of Inner Wheel since the year 2000-2001. Joined Inner Wheel to serve the less fortunate sections of society and enjoy friendship. I served IWC of Jalandhar West as secretary for the two consecutive years 2003-04, 2004-05. As president for three times for the years 2005-06,2008-09 and 2015-16. I got awards for outstanding president,best secretary and outstanding ISO during my tenure. I bagged many prizes in the competitions held within the district and other districts.
I was born and brought up in Karnal- a beautiful city of Haryana. I completed my graduation from D.A.V. College for Women Karnal and Bachelor of Education too from the same institute with Instrumental Music and Home Science. I did graduation in Instrumental Music ( Sitar) from Allahabad University. I bagged Academic Scholarship since Primary to College .
I am happily married to Rtn.Er.Joginder Singh an industrialist in hardware manufacturing. I’m blessed with two sons both happily married and running their own business.
I’m life long member of KSG memorial charitable society, red cross society and NARCHY. I’m a regular blood donor. My hobbies are painting, gardening, listening music and travelling
