PM Modi lauds sprinter Dutee Chand For Winning Gold In World University Games asks for her views on Tokyo Olympics.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated sprinter Dutee Chand for winning the women”s 100 m Gold in the World University Games at Naples in Italy. He said “Exceptional achievement of an exceptional athlete! Congratulations DuteeChand for winning a hard-earned and well-deserved Gold in the Women”s 100 m finals. You make India proud!
Interacting with PM Modi she affirmed “I feel very proud and motivated to perform well at the Tokyo Olympics.

Dutee further told PM Modi “I belong to a family of Weavers and we are six sisters, one brother, mother and father in the family. My mother fell a victim to criticisms by the Villagers for having given birth to so many girls
She further affirmed “it’s my request everyone to bless us to enable us to win medals in the Tokyo Olympics and make the country proud: Sprinter Dutee Chand after interaction with PM Modi

Whereas Bhupinder Singh Hooda made it known that the
Haryana Government did not pay any attention to the development of IMTs set up in Rohtak, Nuh, Kharkhoda, and Faridabad during the Congress’ tenure.

She is the only Indian athlete to win a gold medal at the global event.

Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind and Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju had congratulated Chand on her accomplishment.
