Rotary Club of Bombay Metropolitan president Meeta Mehta shared her club’s Charitable projects amid a pandemic

Mumbai: Rotary club is a nonprofit organization and they acknowledge serving society with compassion and unconditional support. Similar goes to Rotary Club of Bombay Metropolitan, District -3141, who stepped in and constantly attempt to contribute their helping hands for the needy ones during this difficult time of Covid 19 Pandemic.

They have undertaken various projects which are as follows :

Provided Dialysis Machine Donated (3 machines) – Rs 2,016,000 at
Kalyan center andHelping Patients with kidney problem Medicine/ dialysis/Surgery – Rs 1,955,000. Annapoorna Project ( 3700 Meals) – 55,000

Further Baghbaan project ( Meals to senior citizens) – Rs 4,000. Rotary Angels contribution 9000 per month ×6 months – Rs 54,000 as well as Dharavi Dairy project donation of Tablets / Notebook & stationery- Rs 246,000

Thalassemia Project medicine for 6 months to 2 patients – Rs 25,600. Ashiyana project 7 houses (district project) – 490,000. Malnutrition Food to undernourished child – Rs 30,000, Non-Wovens to Hospital 31500 Nos – Rs 31,500

Adding to it donated 1000 Packets of Sanitary Napkins to Villagers – Rs 17,000. 100 Learning kit to students – Rs 35,400
gave 16 numbers of cycles to Mumbai Dabbawala – Rs 96,000. Two Ipad and Set of Britannica dairy – Rs 30,000

Insurance has taken for Front line workers at apex – Rs 600,000. Donated to deepshikha for cancer patients – Rs 171,000.Blood Donation camp at Dadar Station – Rs 4,400

Cancer screening of Female police officers and Diabetes check-up at Police Station – Rs 4,400. Data pack and Nutritional kits at Angel Express for students – Rs 144,000
PPE kits – Rs 600,000,1500 Shield Masks – Rs 120,000,Khichdi Meals – Rs 147,000

Meanwhile doing an initiative AA CHAL KE TUJHE MAIN LEKE CHALU, to help those who entertain us, is for Artists and Entertainers.
