The 39th World Congress of Medicina Alternativa/Science & Spirituality was held on 31st May 2025 at Russian Centre for Science & Culture, Pedder Road, in Mumbai; under the aegis of All India Shah Behram Baug Society (for Scientific & Educational Research) NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC and Mazdayasnie Monasterie .
Medicina Alternativa, Societies/Trusts. The Congress opened with Interfaith prayers for Peace by representatives of Hindu, Jain, Muslim, Zoroastrian faiths. Dr. Meher Master-Moos President, Dr. Chandra Krishnamurthy Chairperson Board of Studies, Dr. Dara Rupa Governing Body Member and Ing CHRISTIAN PREINFALK of Austria Guest of Honour presided. Following this reports and speeches were given by the NGO’s representatives who had attended United Nations Conferences in New York, led by Dr. Harshwardhan Malwade, Dr. Nandita & Dr. Viral Shah, Dr. Usha Nair & Dr. Narayan Iyer. Speeches were given on various methods of health care and vastu by Dr. Avinash & Dr. Aakanksha Kulkarni who celebrated silver jubilee of Vastu Aarogyum in Jalgaon, Dr. Kemas Dara Wadia practising Chiropractor in Pune, Dr. Bindu Bendre for Music Therapy, Dr. Abdul Gafur & Dr. Mohammed Rafi for Acupuncture in Mumbai & Mr. VICTOR GORELYKH Director of Russian House.
During the afternoon session His Excellency ALIAKSANDR MATSUKOU Consul-General of Belarus and his wife, His Excellency Acting Consul-General of Iran HASAN MOHSENI FARD, Mr. NIKOLAY KAPUSTIN representing C. G. IVAN FETISOV – RUSSIA, Dr. MOHAMMED REZA FAZEL – ICH DIRECTOR & Ing. CHRISTIAN PREINFALK gave speeches as Guests of Honour and gave Awards to DR. N. UMRIKAR Centre Head (and in absentia Dr. R. N. Shukla), DR. MRS. JAANHAVI MAHADIK Assoc. Centre Head, DR. MANOJ KALANTRI Guide, DR. MRUNALINI KULKARNI Guide of Pune Centre who brought maximum number of 7 candidates for convocation.
This was followed by Jain Bhaktamar Division Heads – DR. MANJU JAIN, DR. MRS. ARCHANA JAIN, SHRI VINAY JAIN & DR. RICHA JAIN being honoured for bringing 5 candidates. This was followed by Delhi, Mumbai and All India Centres Guides & Assessors being honoured – DR. USHA NAIR, DR. B. KUMAR, DR. PRASAD DHULIPALA, DR. BINDU BENDRE, DR. LATHA VENKATESHWARAN, DR. DEVIKA KUTTY, DR. TUSHAR GUHA, DR. SMITA GAIKWAD.
Between them 10 candidates were conferred doctorate and M.Phil. degrees, total of 22 candidates for convocation. The main merit of Zoroastrian College is that it provides a global educational platform; at the same time giving an opportunity to its graduands to attend conferences held at the United Nations. Between 80 and 100 persons attended the program this year.
