International Women’s Day
Ladies wing of Millat Nagar, Jamate Islami Hind had organised an event to mark the occasion of Women’s Day at Karamveer sports complex, Andheri on 12th March.

The event began with the introductory remark then followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran- Surah Rahman in front of Muslim and Non-Muslim sisters.

And presented the activity of Jamate Islami Hind which includes promoting and struggling for peace and brotherhood in the society.

The highlights of the program were as follows:

The theme for Women’s Day 2022 is Gender equality – Break The Bias. How true is this slogan? It’s been a decade since we have been celebrating Women’s Day across the world. But have women found the position fo which they are eligible despite being shoulder to shoulder with men in each field.? This is a burning question that each woman has to search individually, Through this women’s day, each female is not only given the message that the current era is of empowering women, but also that they are ahead of men in every field.

But verily, the primary responsibility of a women is the upbringing of her children and only a women can fulfil this essential responsibility. In this way, a pleasant and strong society will develop and henceforth, no women will have to demand for her rights. Through this message, a sense of identity was given to each sister in the event.

Further, a Nasheed was presented and Non Muslim sisters were felicitated. While concluding, each sister shared her view and a vote of thanks was given along with a promise to be associated with the organisation. The event was lauded by Non Muslim sisters which was a great achievement for our Muslim sisters who has organised the event.

The program had a total strength of 105 sisters including 52 Non Muslim sisters.

Allah is our protector!
