Mother’s Day is a holiday honoring motherhood that is observed in different forms throughout the world. In the United States, Mother’s Day 2023 falls on Sunday, May 14. The American incarnation of Mother’s Day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908 and became an official U.S. holiday in 1914. Jarvis would later denounce the holiday’s commercialization and spent the latter part of her life trying to remove it from the calendar. While dates and celebrations vary, Mother’s Day traditionally involves presenting moms with flowers, cards and other gifts.

Hello Womeniya: Share your Best Memories with your Mother during your childhood.
My faintest memory is that as a little girl, I would wear mom’s dupatta scarf as a sari and act like her. Also everyday she would cook sumptuous meals and keep the house clean for us to return from school and enjoy. Living in a joint family in initial years, we hardly got to see mom till the time Grand Parents moved out with rest of the family to a better house. After that mom and us were together everyday and that itself was the biggest joy, to be able to spend time with her!
Hello Womeniya: What’s your Message on your Day
All mothers must follow 5Es Principle:
1-Right Education,
2-Right Environment,
3-Right Encouragement, &
4-Right Exposure
1-Right Education including morals, values and ethics education besides curriculum is important in shaping up the personality of your child. Even though every parent tries to give the best education to their kids, yet knowing what is right stream for your kids, what suits their caliber and temperament; not what you want them to study makes all the difference.
2-Right Environment providing a right balance of nurturing care and accountability, an open space where children can express themselves freely and discuss issues and concerns is important and as a responsible mother, one must ensure it.
3-Right Encouragement can actually make children progress much beyond their own limitations they’ve set in their minds. Some parents out of habit don’t realize this and are always comparing their kids with their friends, cousins or even siblings causing anxiety and heartburn to their kids. Instead give them positive reinforcement for their good behavior to help them feel and become confident.
4-Right Exposure is as important as nurturing your kids. Giving them Exposure to different situations or scenarios by seeking their opinion or advice will enable them with fast decision making and develop their analytical skills so that they take calculated risks and take swift actions within the given time frames whenever required in their life.
All the four Es will help your kids develop a positive world view and experience the world with all its blessings, while also preparing them for the folleys to lead a great, successful, and fulfilling life.

The biggest challenge was to change people’s mindset tuned to small thinking and not striving hard enough. We work on our members’ mindset and gave them a great Vision to Cherish, a Mission to Strive for, a Purpose to Pursue. Once passion ignites then starts a journey of perpetual growth which they gladly embark upon.

My inspiration comes from all SME businesses whom I see fighting for their share of growth day and night, more often struggling to get a strong foothold in absence of skills, and that’s where we come in; to provide them with right knowhow of how to escalate their Self-growth and Business growth.
Hello Womeniya: Do you feel that in India there are enough structures and facilities put in place to assist women to expand their Startup Journey.
Definitely! Off late, there have been some strong measures put in place by government to acknowledge contribution of women as entrepreneurs and provide them funds/ loans and necessary industry support along with incubators, accelerators and digitization increasing the reach of women with knowledge and facilities accessible through internet and hence women don’t need to go place to place or be dependent on family or others to seek help.
Hello Womeniya: How you balance your professional and personal life.
With right mindset and clarity, one is equipped to decide what to priorities and accomplish during their working time and a pre-decided schedule everyday helps enhance your productivity and get more done in less time.
A dedicated me time, and family time, instead of stealing from your day, adds up to your productivity! Hence, I plan well in advance and feed all meetings in my calender, write down in the night what I must achieve the next day and easily sail through my hectic schedule.
Hello Womeniya: What advice would you give to someone who are aspiring Entrepreneurs.
Always remember, Clarity, Conviction, Competence and Consistency with help you Succeed in any area you choose to start your entrepreneurial journey. Ask yourself why you want to start your venture, what’s your passion and purpose that will drive you every morning to get up and set out to work, cause clarity is power!
On your toughest day, you know what you are building for tomorrow so just hang in there, as sky is the limit for those who dare to become entrepreneurs.
