India has produced several women entrepreneurs in the Social field in recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare, branding, Social services, etc. Uttar Pradesh notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.
Hello Womeniya. Com always has a very special corner for the women, and the news portals are working towards women-empowerment right from the inception. Hello, Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on the online platform. The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur, and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.
In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode, we are introducing you to a very dynamic and popular social Entrepreneur of the Inner wheel who firmly believes in Social service and charity work. Yes, we are talking about Ruchi Mishra who is Immediate Past President of Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow Prerna, Dis 312. She shared her Club’s Pandemic Projects details with Hello Womeniya Correspondent Radhika Joshi
Mumbai: Inner Wheel are operating their goals to make our society a promising living place and the Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow Prerna did several projects to do so and fulfill their responsibility.
It was her pleasure to get the opportunity to be President of esteem organization IWC Lucknow Prerna for 2020. She was very much excited to help society. But the year 2020 had some other plans for its future. They all are going through a difficult time of ‘covid19’. During this pandemic period, she came to know that “Man proposes and God disposes of “. She was scared of what would happen to her tenure. How will they do the installations? many things came to her mind but with God’s grace their then DC Mrs. Nusrat Rashid encouraged her how to come forward from this obstacle then she started to connect with every member. She got amazing results and was blessed with their Prerna team and members who always motivate her. She would like to thank on behalf of her team and special thanks to the amazing members, who showed confidence in her and her colleagues. In this tough time, they had some plans to come out with flying colors along with fulfilling the motive of the organisation, arranged webinar’s events, meeting through Zoom, and could able to do social services like Provided foods, sanitizers, disposable masks, and gloves, sanitation prog., Giving smartphones for online studies and E-learning to underprivileged students with full precautions and According to government guidelines.
Following are the details of the Covid-19 projects:-
Project 1
As the COVID 19 pandemic continues to rattle our lives, and schools are still running classes online, several students are facing trouble accessing study material. A large number of children do not have a suitable phone! Taking care of this problem, they distributed smartphones to the underprivileged students of Jagriti school. Donated Registration fees to underprivileged students who were preparing for IAS.
Project 2
They allocated 500 masks,200 sanitizers, and 216 sanitary pads to needy people. We had an informative session with the DM of Lucknow regarding the covid 19 pandemic. Also collaborated with Amarujala in their Project for Lucknow JAAGO LUCKNOW JAAGO ABHIYAAN.
Project 3
Under Health & Hygiene, we Distributed items to deaf women at the Women welfare foundation Halwasiya office like Oats, cornflakes, Honey, Ayurvedic immunity booster, Tea & mask, gloves, Handwash, sanitary pads, etc. They found themselves happy when they saw their happy faces.
similarly donated 144 pieces of Horlicks Growth jars for the betterment of
Donated 54 Horlicks growth jars at Eeshwar Child Welfare Foundation for the betterment of the health of children. On the last day of Daan Utsav, we again distributed Horlicks To 70 children of the slum area of Mahanagar.
Project 4
Project Hunger Drive
The club has celebrated Independence Day by providing cooked 200 Noodles packets with vegetables in a day for 400 deprived kids.
Project 5
Allotted Nutritious food like Apple, Banana, chachha, Biscuits, and cooked food packets, and dry Rashans to labor and deprived kids this pandemic time.
Project 6
Donated sewing machines to needy women for their livelihood
Project 7
Distributed stationery books bags to underprivileged children for their studies
The club members had given awareness about how we should destroy the used masks before throwing them away in the waste paper basket. There is a huge market where discarded masks are sold to the poor. Their actions can save hundreds from getting infected. conveyed the photo grid and video on different social platforms.
Moreover, this club has performed sanitization at slums area, colonies of Mahanagar, and IFC training centers and also distributed hand sanitizer among all vegetable vendors, rickshaw walla, laborers in this pandemic time.

Inner wheel Club District 312 one of the most important District of IW which covers many cities and Districts of Uttar Pradesh such as, Lucknow, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Faizabad, Basti, Jaunpur, Banaras, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Bahraich, etc.
