Female entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce.
Maharashtra has produced a number of women entrepreneurs in Social field in the recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare, branding, Social services, etc. Maharashtra notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.

Hello Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on online platform. The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.
In our Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you a very dynamic and and popular Social entrepreneur of Maharashtra who firmly believes in Social service and charity. She honoured with so many prestigious awards for her remarkable noble works. Yes we are taking about Kiran Badhe a popular face of Vasai, Virar and Nalasopara who empowered and benefited more than 8,000 women entrepreneurs.
Mumbai: Women’s Empowerment is a necessity in Societies. It’s of prime importance for the self-esteem of a woman and even to the Societies. The significance of Empowering women is to endow them with equal rights and to participate in education, society, economy, and politics. In contemplation of procuring this Social Entrepreneur, Smt. Kiran Badhe has been working hard and tirelessly to provide a every necessity. Besides this, she is empowering her supportive hands to every needy.
She completed her fashion designing from SNDT University, Juhu with Hemant Trivadi and Neeta Lulla as Role Model Aishwarya Rai held in 1994. After shifting base to Vasai she thought that her career came to an end. But, today beset with all her efforts and blessings of one and all, she has risen to be the President of Samruddhi Mahila Bachat Gat and Sewa Sanstha. The organisations impart training in different skills and for development no age bar, education and language.
Their Motto is “Just come to us Learn Earn N Grow with Samruddhi.”
As of now, they have trained more than 5000 women, and she is the proud recepient of 7 awards for her-

4 University of Mumbai felicitated her at the Udaan Festival and many more.
As a Lion Member, she conducts some medical camps for society and reach out to the needy and poor women by donating their requirements.
They have been the NGO Partner for RPG Group Of Companies for the last 5 years. Srujna is their mother NGO and coordinates with them for different women Empowerment initiatives by Cooperating to sell their products offline in Corporates and online on PAYTM. Now she is the Master Trainer of Srujna(NGO).
Samruddhi Mahilla Bachat Gat was established on 5th March 2007 in Vasai, Dist.Thane, to retain a goal to make every woman financially independent, Considering today’s inflation, along with men, the woman also has to earn something to live a comfortable life. So to make women financially independent, we undertake various training programs and train women in various courses.
In the training programme, women are imparted training in Fashion Designing, Mehandi, Warli Painting, Paper quilling, Fabric Painting, Hand Embroidery, Jewellery Making, Saree Draping, Paper Bags Making. All these courses are being imparted by highly qualified and professional trainers. We do not stop after giving training to women. Once women are trained in these fields, we take orders from various companies and deliver those products with the help of these trained women.
With this, women not only earn money and become independent, but also feel satisfied and enjoy their work. Bachat Gat makes women self-reliant.

Organised Fashion Designed and Beautician courses on behalf of Municipal Corporation in Vasai, Virar, and Nallasopara region. Over thousands of women took the advantage of these courses and got trained in these fields.
Organised Flower making, Mehandi, and Tailoring courses for 400 women on behalf of Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Worli.
1200 women from J.S.S. and 1100 women from Municipal Corporation in Vasai, Virar, and Nallasopara region have been trained in Fashion designing and Beautician courses. Trained 100 Adivasi women in Jewellery making course through M.E.T. Services. Trained 400 Sakhi Manch women
Implemented various projects of Private Companies. Manufactured RARA Foundation’s 13,500 Eco-friendly bags.
Manufactured 20,000 bags on the occasion of eco-friendly day for Municipal Council. Manufactured 7500 bags for Municipal Corporation Marathon Competition. Manufactured 100 silk bags for CANNES Film Festival.
Made school uniforms and dresses for annual programs. Made uniforms for Nurses and aprons for hospitals. Worked with BHARTI Project, NGO, Churches, Sr. Vedruna & Father in rural areas. Coordinated with company’s CSR activity as RAYCHEM, MET Seva, J.P. Trust Worked with Atma Vallabh Swavalambi Mahila Sanstha Nallasopara to train rural women tailoring courses with marketing.
Furthermore honoured with Babu Jagjivanram, Babasaheb Ambedkar Award and Samara Sahitik Award, Corona Yodha from Aamchi Vasai, and many more.
Amid the current pandemic situation, she says, ” I am accomplishing all the safety measures. Even when I go out I wear two masks, come and wash hands, legs properly and take all the precautions.” Even when the covid began from that time onwards she is working beneficially and providing necessities to people.
