In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you to a very dynamic and popular social entrepreneur of IWC who firmly believes in Social service and charity work yes we are talking about Rajni Verma Secretary and upcoming president of Inner Wheel Club of Barabanki, Dist-312 stepped in with precautions to support Covid affected in this lockdown.

Inner wheel District 312 is one of the most important District of Inner wheel which covers many big cities and districts of Uttar Pradesh such as Allahabad, Luckhnow, Faizabad, Sultanpur, Basti, Gorakhpur etc. This District performed well during this difficult time of pandemic and supported to the poor and needy people.

Brief introduction of Dr. Rajni Verma

She was born on 29 March 1973, to Dr. Vinod Singh Sachan and Chandrakanti Sachan in Kanpur. She completed her Master in Sociology from Kanpur University. She got married to Rotarian Sunil Verma in the year 1994, he belongs to a reputed family of doctors in Barabanki. She is blessed with a daughter who completed her Master in Management from Nottingham University, UK, and a son who has recently completed his intermediate.

During her college day, she was an active member of all the clubs and often engaged in various social activities organised by the university. This experience later helped her become a member of the Inner Wheel Club of Barabanki and joined the club in 2016. Since her joining, she has been the Head of Vocational Services in their club. During her tenure, with the help of her club, she has successfully taught more than 50 girls and women the art of crochet, shuttle, basic tailoring skills, jewelry making, etc. Her favorite activity among all of these is teaching them how to reuse old cloth material and make beautiful handbags and rugs from the same.

Currently, she is the Club Secretary and next year she will be the Club President. To spread awareness about COVID she has put up banners all over her town and distributed masks and sanitizer to the people in need.
