Meet Ankleshwar Social entrepreneur Meera Panjwani who comes forward to support covid 19 Pandemic affected people

In our social Entrepreneur series today We are introducing you a very dynamic and popular social Entrepreneur of Ankleshwar  who always belives in Women Empowerment and Social service is passion for her. Yes we are talking about Meera Panjwani a Covid warrior of Gujarat. 

Meera Panjwani is a social entrepreneur and Received prestigious award Margret Oliver Golding Award from International Inner Wheel , and awarded by HDFC bank as a corona warrior. She is a Past District Chairman of Inner Wheel Club 306 and past president of Rotary Club in Ankaleshwar district 3060.

Meera Panjwani shares her Covid 19 Pandemic experience  and lockdown journey with Hello Womeniya  Correspondent Janvi Panjwani.

Meera Panjwani shared her Covid 19 pandemic experience  ,” In this pandemic I had 5 mobile vans for teachers to give education supplement in schools for childrens.”

Meera Panjwani further informed,

Meera Panjwani honoured as a Covid warrior by HDFC Bank.

“Due to this lockdown, as everything was closed, there was a shortage for mask everywhere here in Ankaleshwar, then I thought to make cotton mask from my centre and I took the permission for my Governor and the Collector  they allowed me to open the centre, They told us to take proper protocols in my centre 7-8 ladies were called everyday at my centre for work and then I sanitized everything and then I was handling Mini bus in which our ladies come to work I used to send bus to pick up and drop them at the respective home’s, In my Center we kept sanitizers and maintained social distancing.”

Meera Panjwani in addition to this said that,” The doctors demand PPE kits, then I made PPE  kits from at  Center and gave it to them who were in need of kits.”

Meera Panjwani further added,” In a day 45 ladies used to come and learn teaching skills , We had two trainers to teach them and if someone’s wants to learn additional courses,then we provided them certificates of completion.”

In this pandemic , I have totally focused on mask and PPE  kits , I am working from home and giving instructions on call to my staffs, said Meera Panjwani.

Meera Panjwani further said,” People who were migrating, collectors were requesting me to give 2,000 mask then I called my trainers and told them to give them mask , Also we had given mask to hospitals, policemen, and in between when School’s were opened we gave mask to the childrens in free.
