In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in episode we are introducing you to a very dynamic and popular social entrepreneur of IWC who firmly believes in Social service and charity work yes we are talking about Kamini Agarwal President of Inner Wheel Club of Hapur Dist-301 stepped in with precautions to support Covid affected in this lockdown.

Brief Introduction of Inner wheel:-

International Inner Wheel is an international women’s organisation to create friendship, service, and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. It’s a non-profit organization and known for its charity works. Inner wheel club has a very strong presence in India. More than 3,000 clubs are active in urban as well rural areas of India.

Mumbai: Inner Wheel Clubs are accomplishing their duties even if the circumstance is drastic, likewise Inner Wheel Club of Hapur, 301 Came along to contribute their helping hands towards the needy

Charity project amid pandemic

Contributed to the society during both lockdowns 20-21:-

For two days food was prepared and distributed to migrant laborers in April 2020. Over 500 people comprising police personnel and health workers are provided food, sanitizers, and masks.

Sant Ishar Singh School at Bighas, Kanya Intercollege, Hapur and Awasiya Vrudhashram Hapur, Madhu Hospital, Hapur were given 4 hand sanitiser dispensing machines in January 2021

Sant Ishar Singh school was sanitised and school staff was allotted sanitisers and soaps in August 2020.80 Food packets were sent for the widows of Vrindavan in September 2020.

Food packets sent to Awasiya Vrudhashram during the lockdown in 2020

Food prepared and distributed to approximately 200 poor people living in slums in Hapur in May 2021

Cloth masks with the Inner Wheel logos were distributed to the general public.
Further,60 Blankets and 6 heaters were bestowed to the Old age home in Hapur.15 covid health workers were felicitated with insulated tiffins and food.
