Inner Wheel Club Of Chitradurga Karnataka Fort Honored City Soldiers In Service On 15th August Did Tree Plantation And Created Awareness To Join Armed Forces

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News over phone, Asma and Sheela, Inner Wheel Club of Chitradurga Fort, said that they honoured the Soldiers on the occasion of India’s 74th Independence Day, 15th August.

They mentioned that even the Rakshabandhan was celebrated with the Soldiers. They are also creating an awareness amongst people to embrace the Armed Forces.

Asma and Sheela also organized a unique plantation programme, i.e. planting fruit bearing plants in forest area for the benefit of the wild animals in the forest area. We quite often spot monkeys migrating from cities and towns in search of food. Therefore to minimize this problem, they intend to plant 50 different types of fruit bearing trees in forest areas.
