Anar Mehta, Ahmedabad based Social Entrepreneur Founder, NGO Srishtibharat, launches Balghar for educating poor and needy and for their growth

India is at an unique phase in its journey where “Women Empowerment” has moved beyond a mere slogan and is now actually shaping into reality.

There are several tireless warriors who are working towards it silently. One such is Ms Anar Mehta, Founder, NGO Srishtibharat, an organization that has undertaken several initiatives for the upliftment of women, especially amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

She has floated an educational institution namely Balghar which is an affordable School for Urban poor for the basic growth and development of the children like basic education, health nutritional and recreation.

The prime focus of Balghar is to inculcate child centered activities with a main focus on development stages that concerns this social, mental, physical and emotional make-up.
Balghar conducts parent meeting each month to keep to update the progress and growth of the child.

She is also an active member of Indian Diaspora and organizations such as the Somnath Trust and World Hindu Economic Forum.

As her efforts continue to expand in India and Globally, she has added yet another feather to her cap by joining Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) as the National President of the NRIs Council. While undertaking this role, she is dedicated to building a sustainable exchange of opportunities between women in India and abroad, leading to a strong global diaspora of Indian Women!

This summer she was in UNITED NATIONS for SDG conference, she learned tat Right to education is very much important which is SDG 4 . So it was implemented as Balghar school in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She wants to same model in other cities of Gujarat like Rajkot, Surat & Baroda.

She is also associated with WICCI and other stakeholders at WICCI.

Following the announcement, and while expressing her delight and sharing her plans with Hello Womeniya, she said, at the outset, I would like to thank Ms Harbeen Arora (Founder and Chairperson, All Ladies League, Women Economic Forum. She is also associated with WICCI) and other stakeholders at WICCI and feels proud at the opportunity bestowed to her and for reposing faith in her.

She went on to add that “I am thrilled to serve Indian women at an international stage and am dedicated to identifying the most underprivileged and working towards their development through a variety of instruments. My aim is to help build an India where men and women equally contribute to the growth and success. In order to do that, women achievers will need to come together to build a platform such as WICCI that enables other women to achieve success which they truly deserve! I gratefully accept this responsibility and I dedicated to serve tirelessly in building a nation of our dreams! I look forward to being inspired by the successful women of WICCI and hope to learn much more!
